Unique opportunity! Short course Sunday 22 and Sunday 29 September 2024

A short course of 2 afternoons from 13:00 – 16:00 at Boekerij de Phoenix in Zeist.
If you want to give your drawing skills a big boost come to this course!
You will work on a theme of your choice. Bring your own photo printed on A4 print paper that you want to draw. Preferably a photo of an animal or a flower. In my workshops, I do not strive to learn to draw with photographic precision. I prefer to look for a bit of freedom in the use of colour. It is wise to bring your own chalk. If you want to work larger than 30×40 cm, it is also good to bring your own paper. Present is plain drawing paper, and Pastel mat. We work at the available tables. Should you like to work at a table easel, please bring your own. I will be there to guide. I will also go into themes that arise.
It will be two lively, very intensive afternoons of 3 hours of drawing, and packed with information.
This workshop is for everyone, young and old, working with pastels for years or wanting to try it for the first time. You are welcome to join us for the day.

What you need to bring yourself:
– Pastel crayons (these may be loose crayons but can also be a box of crayons)
– Possibly your own paper. Present is Clairefontaine Pastel mat and ordinary drawing paper
30×40 cm. If you want to work larger, please bring your own paper.
– Possibly a table easel
– Clothes that may get dirty.
Of course you can also use the pastel crayons that Loes brings along. Cost per person € 7.
